Come Diwali, and we indulge ourselves in card parties, crazy music, fun and food. 10s of items are prepared and all the heart want is to keep binging… from Mom’s special laddu to chachi’s special gujiya to tai special samosas to friend special cocktail dishes…There’s no respite and absolutely no need for the same. ๐
No matter how many items are around you, binging on chaat is one of the most awaited and most favorite thing to do on festivals especially in India. From crazy Samosa chaat to Aloo Tikki chaat to Dahi Bada chaat…each and every delicacy is delicious in its own and there’s no point to avoid it. India and Chaat are absolutely synonyms.
This time for our 168th #FoodieMonday bloghop, our theme is Chaat and amidst all the droolicious chaat items, I decided to work on an innovative recipe this time yet again and all I can think was – Fusion Chaat in Crunchy Bowls.
Fusion Chaat in Crunchy Bowls is prepared in just 15 mins and all you need is Papads, Sweet Potato, Chana jor garam, Paneer shots, Greens and spices. You can add any filling of your choice but it will be worth making. It will be super healthy and utterly delicious…trust me! ๐
Let’s have a look on the recipe –
Preparation time: 15 mins
Serving time: 10 mins
Ingredients
- 4 Papads
- 4 Sweet Potatoes – Roasted
- 2 Tbsp Chana Jor Garam
- 6 bite sized paneer cubes – You can use McCain also
- Handful of baby spinach leaves shredded
- Chilli powder
- Chaat masala
- Lemon
- Salt
- Water in a medium plate
Method
- Take a glass bowl and brush oil on it’s backside
- Soak 2 papads in water for few seconds. Once moist, arrange them in a bowl shape on the outer line / backside of the bowl. Keep your hands moist so that you can align it accordingly
- Microwave it for 1 minute 30 secs and let it rest for 5 mins. Once crunchy, remove the bowl carefully. The Papad bowls are ready.
- Put some fresh spinach leaves in the base
- Arrange sweet potato over the same
- Arrange paneer cubes & chana jor garam
- Sprinkle spices and lemon juice
- Your Fusion Chaat in Crunchy bowl is ready
Serve it in style and let your guests go gaga over the same…Trust me nothing can beat the craziness of making this innovative and healthy chaat. Feel free to experiment with ingredients. ๐ ๐
