Hi Foodies!
You are here for the love of food and I am here for the love of cooking. 🙂
About Me
I am ‘Kriti’ – a social media professional from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm and a home chef, blogger, reader etc etc from 7:00 pm to 1:oo am. 🙂 I love blogging since the time I was in college,in the year 2005, but I regret that I never took it seriously. Till now ummmmm I guess I have more than 4-5 blogs but ,trust me, I don’t remember the usernames and passwords any more. 😀
I discovered my core interest in cooking almost 10 years back but I never thought of turning it into my long term goal. But gradually, with the passing time and my increasing awareness of my own hobbies, I started thinking to do something in this field only. When the girls of my age used to hop the streets and malls for latest dresses and accessories, I used to hunt for various ingredients and cookwares. According to me,the most fruitful time I spend is when I am in the vegetable market looking for fresh stock of the day. 🙂
Kitchen of my dreams
When I visualize my future, do you know what I see? I fantasy beautiful rustic and bricked huge kitchen. One whole wall decorated with brass /copper cookwares and vessels.Another wall with a delicate designer book shelf holding my whole set of recipe books which I love to collect every now and then. An antique style shelf on one roof upon which I will keep my wine bottles and olive oil bottles. A big window, facing towards green lawns decorated with fresh natural white and red flowers, just in front of my cooking gas.And a fresh stock of veggies and fruits on daily basis. 🙂 If I say one kitchen which I really love, it is of Chef Julia Child. 🙂 And I want my kitchen to be on similar lines but more decorated, clean and big…..

Hey, I can so totally relate to you when it comes to shopping for food items and groceries. I remember in my early career days, I was more into shopping till I drop for clothes and accessories and now strangely I find myself hopping from supermarket to supermarket, in search of exotic ingredients and that gives me so much more immense satisfaction than clothes ever did. 😛 I was also always fond of cooking and baking but it was only after my marriage that I could pursue it so relentlessly with no fussy mom, hindering my focus. 😛

Hi, Glad to connect with you.. 🙂 Even I started focusing on my food stuff post marriage only when I realized that my husband loves to have home cooked meals prepared by me. Moreover, cooking is also a stress buster for me as after whole day of office and home stuff, we gals also need some ME time. Isn’t it? 😀

I love cooking as well as writing. The inspiration for the story “Cake Walk” was winning a prize for my rock cakes in the village show back when I was 10. Fortunately I did not suffer the way the boy in my story did! I’m pleased that you liked it.

Hi Kriti, I love food. To taste new cuisine & dishes is kind of a hobby. Sometimes I love to cook experimenting with my weird ideas to surprise my wife.
Your blog is just fantastic. Will definitely try the recipes presented here or ask my wife to try.
