India, a land of Vedas and Upanishads, a land of Gods and Godman, a land of agriculture and spices, a land of cultures and traditions and a land of food and festivals. Yes, such vivid and beautiful is my India! 🙂
Makar Sakranti, Holi, Id, Dusshera, KarwaChauth, Diwali, Christmas etc. always add jewels to the year and whole India comes along to celebrate all of them with great spirit. But, out of all the festivals, Diwali is my favorite.
Lights, Candles, Diyas, Flowers and Food make Diwali one of the most widely loved occasion. We start preparing for Diwali almost a month before with lots of cleaning, shopping, decorating and cooking on the agenda. This year also, diwali being 10 days after, I have done all the cleaning and shopping. Now it’s time for decorations and cooking. 🙂 Yes. Cooking!
